Ico Costa was born in Lisbon and studied at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon, Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires and Le Fresnoy - Studio National des Arts Contemporains, in Tourcoing, France. He made the short films “Libhaketi” (2012), “Quatro horas” and “Descalço” (2012), “Corrente” (2013), “Antero” (2014) and “Nyo Vweta Nafta” (2017), and the documentary “Barulho, eclipse” (2017). His work has already been screened at film festivals such as Cannes' Semaine de la Critique, Rotterdam, Rome, Cinéma du Réel, New Directors / New Films, Oberhausen, Jihlava, Vila do Conde, IndieLisboa, DocLisboa, among many others.
