Born in San Domingo, Dominican Republic, he is an economist, and later graduated in Production at Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires. He produces films with the aim of capturing the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean with an authorial eye, insisting on the development of new narratives and the construction of an identity that questions Latin American and cinema aesthetics. He produced Cocote in 2017, the Golden Leopard winner of Signs of Life section at Locarno, and screened at more than 40 festivals, winning 14 awards. He is currently working in the post-production of two documentaries and a feature film entitled Liborio, a co-production of the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
