Born in Belgium in1968, Annemie lived in France as a child and came back to Belgium in 1983. She studied Fine Arts in College and graduated from Film Studies – option animated film – at the Royal Academy of Art Ghent in 1992. She then started working on the film “Taxandria” by Raoul Servais as a student and continued as studio & production assistant for Anitrick/PDG & Partners until 1994. From 1993 until 1997 directed the Raoul Servais foundation where different short animations – graduation and professional films – were produced. From 1998 to 2000 Annemie was responsible at Cartoon - initiative of MEDIA Program of the European Community - for the preproduction support and organizer of Cartoon Movie. Before returning to production, from 2000 until 2003 she was general Manager of Flanders Image (VAF). She currently produces animations at Studio Lunanime.
