After a separation, María - an overweight and resentful woman moves into a cold apartment surrounded by boxes that she did not unpack. Bored and overeating, she faces small daily conflicts of loneliness, such as spending the day in pajamas and trying to survive Sundays. María is hopeful after a night with Enzo, a waiter with pretensions to a writer, through whom she knows Alejo, an employee who tries unsuccessfully to do theater. The three begin to live in a confused love triangle, and the fear and insecurities of not knowing if they will be able to be who they dreamed of when younger people become evident. Yellow glasses takes a tragicomic look at the end of youth and the beginning of adulthood, and is set against a monotonous Andean city.
