Holding a Master’s degree in Cinema from Goldsmith College-University of London, with a British Council’s Chevening scholarship, Deborah Osborn began her career at the Film Department of MIS-SP. A founding partner of bigBonsai, Deborah is responsible for the creative production of the company’s entertainment projects. She collaborates as jury member and/or speaker at several festivals, such as SXSW, Festival de Gramado, Mostra Olhar de Cinema (Curitiba), Rio Market (Festival do Rio), Cine PE de Recife and Festival Internacional de Curtas Metragens de São Paulo. Deborah worked as curator and producer of the film exhibition and workshop "Kevin Macdonald - um olhar plural", in partnership with Festival Cultura Inglesa, which took place in June 2017 at MIS-SP. In the same year, she was the only Brazilian representative selected to participate in the EAVE Producers' Workshop, one of the main events of the European network of audiovisual entrepreneurs. She also teaches twice a year the course "Documentário para Cinema e TV" at Centro Cultural B_arco, in partnership with journalist Flávia Guerra.
