Carlos, a retired electrician suffering from depression, lives on the outskirts of Sabará, in the state of Minas Gerais, with his daughter Kênia. Strange blackouts have been occurring in the neighborhood, and Kênia becomes suspicious of her father's involvement. The suspicion brings her closer to Carlos, who reveals that he has developed an unusual ability after a serious work accident.
