Camila Mercadal is a filmmaker graduated from Universidad del Desarrollo. Since graduation she has worked as film editor in Chile, Germany and Switzerland. The feature films she has edited include Volantín Cortao, the documentary feature Los Castores and the documentary feature Isola. She also participated as an editor of the short film El Llano de la Paciencia, part of Chile Factory and screened at the Cannes Film Festival Directors’ Fortnight in 2015. In February 2016 she participated in Berlinale Talents’ Editing Studio, and in 2018 she participated as an observer in the renowned Dok.Incubator Workshop, advising on documentary projects in their final phase.
