Synopsis

Tereza (39) is an artist, and her true passion is dance. To support herself as a single mother, she performs on the streets of Rio de Janeiro, teaches gafieira and takes on nursing gigs on Paquetá Island, where she lives with her daughter, Pina (6). When Pina is selected for a reality talent show for kids, the spirit of competition and her daughter's sudden fame rekindle Tereza's desire for recognition. The resulting crisis leads the protagonist to make impulsive decisions, until her maternal love drives her to break free from the cycle of media exploitation and find a path of rebellion and liberation.
