Synopsis
After a work accident, all that remained of Marcelo was a lone boot. In a desperate bid to bring her son back, just like any mother in her situation, Dulcineia would go to great lengths. She traps the rain in the boot with three tightly-knotted shoelaces, and so, Marcelo returns, but he's no longer the same. When a drought looms over the neighborhood, Dulcineia reluctantly unties the first knot on the boot to release some of the rain and take care of her son, unwittingly kick starting his transformation into a fish.
