BrLab is an annual workshop dedicated to future Latin American and European films in the development stage and to the training of professionals in the audiovisual sector. Currently, it is the only market event in Brazil that receives projects from all over Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula (and Italy).

During the lab, producers, directors, and screenwriters representing the twelve selected projects receive comprehensive consultations in key areas for better realization of their products: script, direction, production, and distribution. The workshop has a track record of successful films released in Brazil and abroad and has established itself in recent years as an international reference point.

The 13th edition of BrLab took place from November 16 to 23, 2023.
