After three decades living a comfortable but illegal life as an immigrant in Italy, Brazilian hairdresser Loba is deported to Brazil. Now she is forced to return to her former city to update her documents in the registry office that registered her. In Corumbá, on the shores of a burning Pantanal, she is welcomed by her younger sister Valeria, whom she has never seen before, and her nephew Mateus, an extroverted child who immediately connects deeply with his transvestite aunt. While waiting for her new identity document to arrive, Loba, once alone in the world, now finds her family again, confronts her ghosts, reclaims her past, and joins a new pack of Pantanal transvestites who, like her, are signing her legacy away.
