Claudia Soranzo was born in Padova in 1987. She took a BA in Cinema, Television, and Multimedia Production at the University of Bologna, then she attended a Master in Film Production and Location Management at Cà Foscari Challenge School of Venice. In 2017 Claudia was selected to attend MAIA Workshops, intense training for emerging European producers.
After some years in the documentary field as responsible for the development, in 2016 she joins the Nefertiti Film team. She is working on international co-production projects to improve her knowledge of the dynamics governing these partnerships and expand her network.
She was involved in the development of feature films such as: Small Body (Piccolo Corpo) by Laura Samani, selected by Semaine de la Critique, Festival du Film de Cannes 2021, Brotherhood by Francesco Montagner, Pardo D’Oro Cineasti del Presente at Festival del Cinema di Locarno 2021, Menocchio by Alberto Fasulo Concorso Internazionale Festival del Cinema di Locarno 2018, History of Love by Sonja Prosenc, Karlovy Vary Film Festival 2018 (selected as the Slovenian entry for the Best International Feature film at the 92nd Academy Awards in 2020).
Currently, she is working on the development team of The Rope (La Corda) by Alberto Fasulo, Saving a Language (La lingua salvata) by Francesca Pirani.
She works also as Production Coordinator and Unit Production Manager.

NEFERTITI FILM

founded in 2013 by Nadia Trevisan and Alberto Fasulo, is an independent cinematographic and audiovisual production company headquartered in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Rome.
Nefertiti operates both nationally and internationally, and strongly favors stories that speak honestly to the hearts of its audience, dedicating particular attention to the discovery of new talents but also involving prominent directors and authors.
Nefertiti Film produces and co­produces fiction and documentary films internationally known.
In 2021 produced Small Body by Laura Samani, in competition at Semaine de la Critique, Cannes 2021 and Brotherhood by Francesco Montagner, winner of Padro D’Oro Cineasti del Presente at 74th Locarno Film Festival, co-produced with Nutprodukce (Czech Republic). In 2018 Nefertiti produced Menocchio by Alberto Fasulo, premiered in Official Competition in the 71st Locarno Festival (special Mention by the Junior Jury), winner of the Grand Prix du Jury of the Annecy Cinéma Italien 2018, “Film della Critica (critics award)” by SNCCI. In the same year, Nefertiti co-produced History of Love by Sonja Prosenc (first European co-production among Slovenia-Italy-Norway), premiered in Official Competition at the 53rd Karlovy Vary IFF, where it gained the Grand Jury Special Mention and selected as Slovenian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards 2020.
In 2015, Nefertiti Film joined the 68th Locarno Festival with the documentary Parents by Alberto Fasulo; in 2013, Tir, by Alberto Fasulo, after gaining the Solinas script award in 2010, it won the Marc’Aurelio d’Oro award for best film at Rome International Film Festival. It was then selected in more than thirty international film festivals.
Nefertiti is currently developing La Corda (The Rope) the new feature film by Alberto Fasulo and La Lingua Salvata (Saving a Language) a documentary by Francesca Pirani.
Nefertiti Film has also been an independent distributor since 2018.
