Yohann Cornu founded Damned Films in 2011, first focused on theatrical releases of 1st and 2nd feature films. Amongst those films, CASA GRANDE, by Fellipe Barbosa, RETABLO, by Alvaro Delgado-Aparicio, NEON BULL, by Gabriel Mascaro, TITO AND THE BIRDS, by Gustavo Steinberg, Gabriel Bitar and André Catoto... In 2016, Damned extended its activity to production, in order to follow the filmmakers in their new projects, keeping the same focus on the artistic heart of the film. His selective filmography includes films such as ANATOMY OF TIME (2021) by Jakrawal Nilthamrong, which premiered at Venice Orizzonti, GABRIEL AND THE MOUNTAIN (2017) by Fellipe Barbosa (Cannes’ Critic’s Week - France 4 and Fondation Gan awards), ILLEGITIMATE (2016) by Adrian Sitaru (Berlinale Forum - CICAE award). The upcoming productions will include GREAT YARMOUTH - PROVISIONAL FIGURES, by Marco Martins, and BUSH DOG by Gustavo Steinberg (animation).
