Antonio Prata was born in São Paulo in 1977. He has twelve books published, among them “Meio intelectual, meio de esquerda” (Editora 34, 2010) and “Nu, de botas” (Companhia das Letras, 2013). In 2013, he was selected by Granta magazine as one of the 20 best Brazilian writers under 40. He writes chronicles on Sundays for newspaper “Folha de S. Paulo” and works as a screenwriter at Rede Globo, where he participated in the soap operas “Bang bang” (2006) and “Avenida Brasil” (2012), “A regra do jogo” (2015) and the series “Os experientes” (2016) and “Sob pressão” (2017). He is currently developing for Globo his first series as original author, “Pais de primeira”, a comedy about the changes that the birth of the first child brings to a couple's life. The series was created and is written with Chico Mattoso, Thiago Dottori, Bruna Paixão and Tati Bernardi.
