Carolina Jabor is a stage director, producer and partner of production company Conspiração since 2000. “Aos teus olhos” (2018), her second feature film, highlights the controversial topic of social media slandering. Well received by the critics, the film ran the circuit of national and international festivals, being chosen by the jury as the best fiction film of the 41st edition of Mostra Internacional de Cinema de São Paulo and winner of four awards at Festival do Rio. Her debut film, “Boa sorte” (2014), starred Deborah Secco and João Pedro Zappa. In 2008, she co-directed the documentary “O mistério do samba”, with Lula Buarque de Hollanda, about the Velha Guarda da Portela, screened at Cannes and voted Best Documentary by Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro. For TV, she signed the direction of episodes of the series “Magnífica 70” (HBO), about the “Boca do Lixo” universe during the dictatorship. In 2018, Carolina signed the artistic direction of “Desnude”, first TV series of the platform Hysteria, a creative group formed only by women within Conspiração.
