Lucía Garibaldi graduated from Escuela de Cine del Uruguay (ECU). She is responsible for the script and direction of short films “Colchones” (2010) and “Mojarra” (2012), which received national awards and were screened at international festivals. Since 2012, she has been working on her debut film, the feature film “Los tiburones”, which she wrote and directed, was shot in March 2018 and is currently in postproduction. She is currently finalizing “Los tiburones” and developing two new feature films: “La última reina” (fiction), and “Mírame Roberto Mírame” (documentary).
Sebastián Schjaer studied at Universidad del Cine in Argentina, where he was a professor for five years. His two short films, “Mañana todas las cosas” and “El pasado roto”, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He has edited short films and feature films directed by Matías Piñeiro, Martín Rejtman, Pablo Agüero and Gael García Bernal. His debut film, “La omisión”, was released at the Berlinale in 2018. He is currently developing his second feature film, “El espacio sidereal”.
