A project developed by Klaxon Cultura Audiovisual, BrLab is an annual event dedicated to future Latin American and European films and to the training of audiovisual professionals from different countries through various activities and workshops.

Currently, it is the only market event in Brazil that receives projects from all over Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula (and Italy). Through public calls, projects and professionals from different countries in those regions are selected to participate in different workshops.

The 10 th edition of BrLab takes place on November 5-27, 2020, with a fully free and online programming as a security measure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, given that the participation of professionals from different countries in our activities is essential.

In 2020, in addition to the traditional development laboratory for fiction feature films, the 10 th edition of BrLab will also offer five other activities: the 3 rd edition of the Audience Workshop, in partnership with Projeto Paradiso; the 3 rd edition of the Rough Cut Lab, in partnership with 3 Puertos Cine; the 3 rd edition of the São Paulo Industry Academy, in partnership with the Locarno Film Festival; the 4 th edition of BrPlot – Meeting of Screenwriters, in partnership with ABRA and the 2 nd edition of Reach – Audience Aspects.
